I still haven't written about the day with angel_drake in Tampa, or the trip to Cedar Key, or Homecoming weekend, but I've been waiting to do those for when I finally got the pictures off my camera. Mostly, I'm posting now because of me being sick and all that funstuff.
In other news, shit's happening. Am wiped out. Also glad for the fact that cold weather appears to be finally upon us. Though am annoyed that flash drive with my NaNiWriMo has poofed. *growls*
Expect me to be real scarce online. Best bet on finding me is through email as I check it compulsively.

I decided I should do a cleanup of my Flist and my filters, and I realized, I've got a lot of people friended though I don't check all those journals with any sort of regularity. (Hell, I don't even post with any real regularity.) I would have a more public journal but since I've been told that certain grammar-challenged, vitriol-spewing, pot-smoking rednecks from Maine are stalking those journals friended by pktaxwench, I have to F-lock everything. Pain in the ass, really.

Yes, I made a big point about announcing I was a SWS major. Well, after three semesters of trying, I have reached the conclusion that maybe soils is not the major for me. Of course, failing chemistry twice has a wee bit to do with it too. Then there's the math. Ye gods the math.
Chemistry is evil. And math is too.
On another pleasant note, the advisor I saw (Reggie Tolbert) was REALLY cool and despite the fact that my GPA is a 2.28 (ouch) and CLAS requires a minimum of 2.3 he was nice and got me switched for majors so I'm now an English major. (Again.) Reading and writing is fun. Really. It is. And I've got an actual, feasible plan of what I want to do with my life. Which is good.
So for you UF people, do you have any recommendations for an easy class available in summer that I can bring my GPA up with?
...it's been over a week at least since I made a Naruto icon.

In other news, due to my LT deciding to be a fount of evil, I am going to have to back up my shiznit and reformat the drive. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. And the LT's not even 4 months old.

I took a nap earlier this afternoon that lasted for 3 hours. Hence the fact I'm writing this and it's 12:47am according to my computer clock. Anyway, I was lying on my stomach because that's most comfortable to me. I woke up feeling this leaden weight-like pressure on my shoulder. I open my eyes, and there's a kitty face looking down at me. Serena apparently decided to nap on my shoulder while I was napping.
This is note-worthy mostly because she's never done this before. My kitty lately has been following me constantly and wanting attention (and of course I indulge her unless I'm on the computer). Verra unusual. :/

I am, as usual, behind on updating my drawings page. Mostly because I've got a slight hang-up about tweaking my drawings on the LT. I miss my DT. But I won't have use of my DT until I can reformat *that* drive. I can't reformat that drive until I find the system CDs. (Backups have already been made.) I won't find the system CDs until I clean my room. Gods I hate cleaning.
We're not going to discuss Anesan's wedding photos. We're also not going to discuss the fact I've got wedding photos and photos from the '03 Dragon*Con still locked on my digicam's memory cards.

I swear, I've got a gremlin. An evil little bastard that needs to be smote.
I was working on my Naruto Icons page, and when I go and refresh because I've added icons or added a link to a guestbook, I find icons not working. So I fix them and refresh and then other icons weren't working. Fixed those, refreshed, found that the link for the guestbook had mysteriously vanished, and the pics I fixed before? Not working.
HOPEFULLY everything is now up and running.
Good freakin gods.
